The Scoop on GoldenMP3
GoldenMP3 is one of the not-so-good sites we’ve reviewed. The site has a bad reputation, bad history and is one to avoid all-together.
We would be cautious about giving these guys your payment details, they aren’t the most trusted of site out there. There are other sites that are safer, cheaper, have more songs are most importantly, more freebies!
Our Verdict:
Another pants site. We recommend using a site like MP3 Panda or LegalSounds instead. Check out the reviews page for our favourite sites.

I'm not sure if this will or won't get resolved, but maybe it won't.
My problems with the site:
* how many days or weeks does it take to get a
simple download?
* stealing my credit card details seems to have taken them seconds.
My suggestion:
use a safe trusted site like MP3 Panda or MP3Fiesta.

I've been using this site for a while now and it's a bit of a let down. Date: 5th December 2009
They have lots of new releases, but not much old stuff and the site is very tricky to use.

I have been using GoldenMP3 for about a year. There are good and bad things about it. So here it goes...Date: 3rd April 2010
Pros:
Daily updates with new music. This is important for me. I am always looking forward to new releases and they usually hit GoldenMP3 a few weeks before the physical release. I use MP3Panda too, but they are not as reliable with new releases.
Payment with Paypal. I never had a problem with GoldenMP3 when I used my credit card like other reviewers have, but six months ago they gave a Paypal option. MP3Panda does not have a Paypal option and it is kind of annoying. I don't want to give my credit card number to ANY Russian website, no matter how reliable they supposedly are.
Cons
Expensive (compared to other sites). Each song is 15 cents and albums range from $1.10 to 2.50. The average is probably 1.60. It is worth the extra 60 cents to download an album from Golden 2-3 weeks before I can get it from Panda.
Not a lot of old stuff. If you want to build your collection with older stuff, go to Panda.
