MP3Horde's site design is very plain and simple, with very little to look at. But that doesn't by any means make it a bad site. The site is full of music, offering one of the largest libraries of mp3s. The site lists every genre you can imagine too, there's something here for everyone! Our Verdict: A HUGE library of music, the site could do with a better design, but you're not there to look at the colors, you're there for music!
Signing Up
Registering with the site is quick, easy and takes a few seconds. Give your email address, username and password. That's it. However, unlike
LegalSounds and
Soundike, there is no offer for signing up. No trial songs or free credit. But believe us when we say you don't need to try out the site first. Prices
Mp3 tracks on MP3Horde are 11¢ per track. This is all over the site for every track. Album prices vary depending on how many tracks are of course, but will rarely cost much more than $1. MP3Horde don't offer an album discount, so if an album has 10 tracks, it will cost you 10 times the track price. Nice and simple, just what we like!
Music Selection
MP3Horde's music library has over 4,612,970 tracks. This number is always growing, with both new and old music. The site lets you preview any music on the site before you buy, so you can make sure you're getting what you want. Please note though, the mp3 preview is low quality. The download of the mp3 will be much better.
Search Facility
MP3Horde's search facility is great, it's easy top find what you want and easy to browse if you're not sure what you want! The site allows you to download entire albums, as well as individual tracks. So if you're the sort of person that loves chart music and nothing else, MP3Horde can help!
