The Scoop on MP3Sale
MP3Sale have a fresh site, with funky colours, a little bit different to the rest. The site is easy to navigate and has help guides on how to pay, how to register and how to download. All very good things if you are unsure of how these sites work. MP3Sale have been around since 2004, and in that time, prices have changed to Euros rather than dollars, so when you are on our comparison table, bear this in mind. Our verdict: Groovy site, with the best offers and deals, kept very up-to-date, even if they still have a Christmas banner in February as their website header! MP3Sale can be overlooked as being more expensive, however, due to the fact the site is in € and is being compared to sites that are in $.

Signing Up
Registration with MP3Sale is very simple, you just need to provide an email address, your name and a password and you’re ready to start topping up your account and buying cheap mp3s. MP3Sale are currently offering customers 10 free songs after sign up, this is quite a few to get you started on their service! You have the choice to unsubscribe to the newsletters, they are ok as far as newsletters go, but other sites offer more informative and relevant newsletters.

Payment Options and Offers
MP3Sale accept Visa, MasterCard or Wire as forms of payment. The minimum top up to your account is €24.00. This amount applies everytime you want to top up your account. However, as with most mp3 download sites, if you top up a bit more, they give you a little something back: Top up €30 to get €10 for free or top up €50 to get €50 for free. Prices
Track prices on MP3Sale stay the same across the site at just 12¢ each. As with all sites, album prices do vary depending on the number of tracks they have. MP3Sale give customers a discount of 20% on albums prices, so if you want more than the odd track, it may be more cost effective to buy the whole thing.

Music Selection
MP3Sale have over 2,650,000 tracks, the most of all the sites we have reviewed so far, other than MP3Skyline. As with all sites, songs can be previewed before you purchase, (the preview is low quality, the actual download is much better). This site is the best for the preview service, a very quirky little music player appears on the site which allows you to play, stop and listen to a part of the track. This works really well and we’ve got no idea why no-one else has this feature yet!

Search Facility
The search facility on this site is as good as the other sites we have reviewed. It finds what you want, but doesn’t display a big long list like other sites. Nor does it miss off results, there’s a genius ‘view all’ button under the search results. A very good simple, feature that helps you use the site. They have a good browse feature though, allowing you to browse by Compilation, Genre, Soundtrack and the World Charts.

Getting Tracks to your PC
With MP3Sale, you currently receive 10 free tracks your account, this makes MP3Sale the easiest site to download your mp3s from. All you need to do is click the ‘Download’ button next to the track or album, and it will start downloading to your pc straight away. Once you have used up all 10 free downloads, you will need to download your mp3s to your pc like this: Select the tracks or album you want by ticking the check box at the end of the track or bottom of the album. Then click ‘Add to Cart’. This will add them to the ‘My Music’ section of your account, where you need to click ‘download’ to get the mp3s downloading onto your pc. Anything you download will stay in your ‘downloads’ so that if you lose the track you can get it again without having to re-purchase it.

File formats & Bitrates
MP3Sale offer only mp3s, all of which are DRM free. This means that they can be can be played on anything and everything you like that is capable of playing mp3s and there is no limitations to the number of copies you can keep. The quality of tracks from MP3Sale ranges from 184-320 kbps, which is high, so you don’t need too worry too much about what quality you are downloading your mp3s in. Will it work with my iPod/iTunes?
Yes it will. All songs downloaded from MP3Sale will work with your iPod, iTunes Library, iPhones, Laptop, MP3 Player, Car Stereo, Media Centers, everything you can image that can pump mp3s out of it’s speakers.
