The Scoop on MP3xclusive
MP3xclusive’s site design is very plain and simple, with very little to look at. But that doesn’t by any means make it a bad site. The site is regularly updated and is packed with genres we’ve never even heard of! Our Verdict: Massive music library, but could use a little album art here and there to keep your interest.
Signing Up
Registering with MP3xclusive is quick and easy. Just give your email address, a nickname and a password and you’re done. MP3xclusive are one of the few sites that do not give you any sort of offer for signing up with them. If you’re after freebies and trying a site, you might better off with someone else! Payment Options and Offers
MP3xclusive accepts Visa or MasterCard as payment methods. The minimum top up to your account is $20.00. This amount applies everytime you want to top up your account. However, if you’re feeling some cash burning a hole in your pocket and want to put a few extra bucks on your account, MP3xclusive give you some nice offers. Top up $35 and get $20 for free or top up $45 and get $45 for free.

Prices
Prices on MP3xclusive are 15¢ per track across the entire site. Album prices vary depending on how many tracks are on the album, but will never cost much more than $1. Unlike other sites, MP3xclusive do not offer a discount on their album price, so if an album has 10 tracks, it will cost you $1.50. Nice and simple, just what we like!
Music Selection
MP3xclusive’s music library consists of 3,387,100 and is constantly on the increase, great news for real music addicts! The site allows previews of music to make sure you’re getting what you want. However, the preview is low quality, the actual download will be much better.
Search Facility
MP3xclusive’s search facility is good, you can easily find what you’re after. However, tracks and albums are displayed, but no artists, so it can be hard to browse through. The site allows to to download whole albums as well as individual tracks.
File formats & Bitrates
All music on MP3xclusive is in mp3 format. The quality of mp3s is 192kbps, which is very good quality. Many tracks are labelled ‘VBR’ which for variable bit rate; however, these are generally high quality (192kbps). See full descriptions of: DRM Free Music and Quality
Will it work with my iPod/iTunes?

MP3XCLUSIVE is the perfect site for DJs. It not only has had almost every 12" I had on vinyl, but it's had MP3's of records I could never find on vinyl. This site is hella-cheap and comprehensive in its catalog of tracks.
PROS: Massive catalog of 12" singles of all genres (Acid Jazz, Freestyle, Hip-Hop, House, Funk, Soul, Electronica, Downtempo, Lo-Fi, etc.) Cheap (as of 03/19/10, tracks are $0.15 ea and $45 gets you $90 credit to use on the site.)
CONS: Track information and album artwork are minimal.
